The Den x MFT Mom Social Club: RECONNECTING WITH SELF
You have a baby and a mother is born. But where did the "old" You go? Losing touch with yourself is a common challenge of motherhood. To some extent, this is a biological necessity: you’re now more attuned to your child’s needs and you naturally prioritize their needs over yours. Yet it's critical for your wellness and mental health to reconnect with and befriend the “new” You as you evolve and grow through this pivotal transition of life.
Join MFT and The Den for a guided exploration to reconnect with yourself and expand your sense of who You are as a mom, as a woman, and as a human. Perinatal mental health expert and psychotherapist, Elizabeth Wellington, will lead you through group discussion, self-reflection, and inspiring exercises, empowering you with a renewed sense of who You are and who You want to be, as a mother and beyond.
This workshop will be offered in the MFT Social Club format: child-free mingling, workshop, learning, fun and connection, all wrapped up in a sweet 2-hour evening. Please note that this event will offer non-alcoholic beverages for purchase from The Den.
